Lusaka, Zambia, March 2025 – Zamtel has announced the appointment of Sikalinda Munsanje as Head Talent Management and Development. With a robust background in higher education, mining, and telecommunications, Sikalinda brings expertise in talent development, workforce planning, and leadership training. In his new role, he will lead strategic talent initiatives, ensuring workforce capability development and alignment with Zamtel’s business objectives.
Prior to joining Zamtel, Sikalinda served as Training and Development Manager at Kagem Mining Limited, where he led employee learning programs and training course development. Before that, he spent over seven years at Technical and Vocational Teachers’ College (TVTC) in various leadership roles, including Training and Administration Manager and Head of Department – Education, where he played a pivotal role in curriculum development, faculty management, and vocational training.
Earlier in his career, Sikalinda worked as Skills Training Manager and Consultant at In Service Training and Education Center, contributing to technical training and workforce upskilling programs. He also spent four years as a College Lecturer at TVTC, specializing in higher education teaching and curriculum design. His diverse experience in learning and development, stakeholder management, and organizational capacity building makes him a valuable addition to Zamtel’s leadership team.
Sikalinda holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Cape Town.
