Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Sindhu Gangadharan has been appointed as the new President of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC). As Managing Director of SAP Labs India and Head of Customer Innovation Services at SAP, she has been instrumental in building SAP’s largest R&D hub outside Germany and driving customer-centric innovation. With over 26 years of global experience across India and Germany, Sindhu is also the first woman to lead SAP Labs India, making her a trailblazer in technology and leadership.
Alongside her role at SAP, Sindhu serves as Chairperson at NASSCOM, Independent Director at Siemens and Titan Company Limited, and has been on the Executive Council of NASSCOM for several years. She has also served on the Board of Directors at Qualtrics and as an Advisory Board member for ReLoop by SAP, contributing to global innovation and sustainability initiatives.
Her longstanding association with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce as a Director since 2019 now culminates in this leadership role, underscoring IGCC’s commitment to fostering stronger economic ties between India and Germany. Her appointment reflects IGCC’s vision of strengthening Indo-German collaboration through inclusive and forward-looking leadership.
Sindhu’s appointment further highlights her ability to combine strategic vision, technological expertise, and cross-cultural leadership, positioning IGCC to play an even greater role in enabling business partnerships between India and Germany.
