Montreal, Quebec, Canada, December 2025 — BCA Research has appointed Sophie Collard as Chief People Officer, effective December 2025. In this role, Sophie joins the leadership team and will be responsible for shaping people strategies that support operational efficiency, organizational growth, and transformation, while fostering a high-performance culture across the organization.
As Chief People Officer at BCA Research, Sophie Collard will focus on aligning people practices with business priorities, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling a culture that supports innovation and excellence in a global research-driven environment. Her mandate includes supporting the firm’s continued growth while ensuring an inclusive and engaging employee experience.
Prior to joining BCA Research, Sophie served as Vice President, Human Resources & Payroll – Canada at Solina Canada, where she acted as a senior HR leader and C-suite business partner. In this role, she led HR, health & safety, and payroll functions across multi-union and non-union sites, driving transformation initiatives and people strategies to enable business growth while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Earlier in her career, Sophie spent nearly two decades at McKesson Canada, holding progressively senior HR leadership roles including Senior Director, HR Business Partner and Senior HR Business Partner. Her portfolio spanned corporate functions, strategic procurement, customer technology solutions, finance, and procurement. She also led organizational development and training initiatives and held various HR leadership roles over the years. Prior to McKesson, Sophie worked as HR Manager – East & West Canada (ITS Division) at GE, building broad experience in HR leadership across regions.
