Liège, Walloon Region, Belgium, March 2025 – Steven Scheers has joined GAMING1 as the new Chief People & Culture Officer, bringing extensive leadership experience in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational transformation. In this role, he will drive workforce development, culture transformation, and HR innovation, supporting GAMING1’s growth in the gaming and entertainment industry.
Prior to this, Steven was the Founder & CEO of Yuman Capital, where he led executive coaching and change management initiatives for multinational organizations. His expertise in HR transformation, leadership development, and business strategy helped businesses enhance employee engagement, diversity, and operational efficiency.
Earlier, he served as Chief People, Strategy & Transformation Officer at Napoleon Sports & Casino, where he developed HR strategies that significantly increased employee engagement and reduced turnover rates. He also spearheaded diversity and inclusion programs, fostering a more inclusive workplace culture.
Before that, Steven was the Chief People & Culture Officer at ICEYE, a global leader in satellite data. At ICEYE, he expanded the workforce significantly while enhancing HR operations and cultural integration. He also held the CHRO role at Avast Software, where he played a key role in mergers, IPOs, and organizational restructuring, demonstrating expertise in HR leadership across international markets.
