Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Simpolo Tiles and Bathware has appointed Subhanish Malhotra as its Chief Human Resources Officer (Group CHRO). In this role, he will lead the group’s human resources strategy, focusing on talent, culture, leadership development, and workforce transformation, as Simpolo continues its growth journey across the ceramics and bathware industry.
With over 19 years of HR leadership experience, Subhanish brings deep expertise in building people-centric organizations, strengthening employee relations, and aligning HR strategy with business objectives across large manufacturing and consumer-facing enterprises.
In his current role at Simpolo Tiles and Bathware, Subhanish Malhotra has taken on the responsibility of Group CHRO, where he will oversee group-wide HR strategy, leadership capability building, organizational effectiveness, and culture transformation initiatives to support the company’s long-term growth ambitions.
Immediately prior to this appointment, Subhanish served as Vice President – Human Resources at Welspun World, where he spent over three years leading strategic HR initiatives at the group level. His role involved driving people strategy, strengthening leadership pipelines, and supporting business transformation across diverse verticals within the Welspun ecosystem.
Before Welspun World, he was associated with Welspun India Limited as AVP – HCGA, based in Vapi, Gujarat. In this role, he focused on human capital governance and administration, contributing to workforce management, compliance, and HR operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
A significant part of Subhanish’s career was spent at Arvind Limited, where he served for nearly 14 years, most recently as General Manager – HR & ER. During this long tenure, he played a key role in managing human resources and employee relations for large manufacturing operations, building strong industrial relations frameworks, and supporting organizational stability and growth.
Earlier in his career, Subhanish held HR roles at Globus Stores Pvt. Ltd. as Regional Human Resources, and began his professional journey with internships at Asian Paints and Maruti Udyog Limited, gaining early exposure to HR practices in large, process-driven organizations.
