Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Sudhi Sinha Varshney has taken on a significant new leadership position as Vertical Head – Business HR for Retail Assets, Debt Management, Credit Cards, and Merchant Acquisition at YES BANK. In her new role, Sudhi will drive the people agenda for key business verticals, shaping HR strategy, talent management, and organizational capability to support the bank’s ambitious growth and innovation in retail banking.
Over the last nearly six years at YES BANK, Sudhi has demonstrated exceptional HR leadership in multiple roles. Most recently, as Zonal Head – HR Business Partnering, she led HR for over 6,000 employees, aligning people strategy with business KPIs, accelerating talent acquisition, embedding performance frameworks, and integrating DEI and capability-building into core talent processes. Before this, she was Head – Leadership Development, Employee Engagement & USRM, where she spearheaded large-scale transformation programs, designed 360° feedback frameworks, and drove digital learning initiatives across the enterprise.
Prior to her current tenure at YES BANK, Sudhi served as Head – Professional Development at Credit Suisse, leading professional development for the India Delivery Center and launching competency-based and high-potential programs. Her earlier role as Deputy Vice President – Learning & Development at Cigna Healthcare saw her design L&D architecture for multiple business units, pioneering digital onboarding and capability models that fostered high performance and engagement.
Sudhi’s previous experience also includes time at YES BANK as Assistant Vice President – Learning & Development, developing training programs aligned to succession planning, and at HDFC Life as Manager – L&D and Process Management, where she led regional training initiatives to enhance productivity. She began her career as a Trainer at Capita Offshore Business Services Pvt., Ltd. and Intelenet Global Services Pvt. Ltd, building a foundation in people development and process training.
Sudhi holds an Organizational Development Certification Program (ODCP) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from the Manipal Institute of Management, MAHE, Manipal.
