Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Supraja Srinivasan has been appointed as Vice President & Head – Corporate Communications, South Asia at Publicis Groupe, where she will lead the region’s internal and external communications strategy across some of the world’s most influential agency brands including Leo, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH, Publicis Media, Zenith, Starcom, Digitas, and MSLGROUP. In this leadership mandate, she partners closely with the South Asia CEO and global leadership teams to shape integrated narratives, strengthen brand reputation, and drive digital-first storytelling that aligns with the Groupe’s globally recognised Power of One model.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, Supraja served as Head – PR & Corporate Communications (India, SEA, Sri Lanka & UAE) at BookMyShow, where she built the entire communications function from the ground up. During her six-plus years with the entertainment-tech major, she steered multi-market narratives, led communication for marquee global events such as Lollapalooza, Coldplay, U2, and BookMyShow Live, and shaped the brand’s reputation across international markets. She also partnered with policy, regulatory, and industry bodies including FICCI, CII, EEMA, and co-authored category reports with EY, establishing BookMyShow as a cultural and entertainment powerhouse.
Prior to BookMyShow, she spent close to three years at The Economic Times, first as Senior Correspondent and later as Principal Correspondent, reporting deeply on the Indian startup and internet ecosystem. She broke industry-first stories across food technology, media, entertainment, consumer products, and digital classifieds, building a strong editorial lens that continues to shape her strategic communication style.
Earlier in her career, Supraja worked as Senior News Producer at Bloomberg TV India, where she led editorial planning, flagship corporate programming, and special projects such as Union Budget coverage and the 2014 general elections. She also independently produced the highly regarded ‘Rising Stars’ startup segment and anchored the ‘Aspire Red Carpet’ feature, further sharpening her storytelling and content leadership skills.
Her foundational years included a role as Associate News Producer at CNBC-TV18, where she produced leading business shows such as What’s Hot, After The Bell, Indianomics, and India Business Hour. She was also part of the team that won the News Television Award 2012 for Best Business News Program, contributing extensively to editorial strategy, newsroom operations, graphics, and production control.
In addition to her core communication and media roles, Supraja has also contributed as a Workshop Facilitator at The Pomegranate Workshop, leading filmmaking, reading, and creative arts workshops for children across IB and ICSE schools, and at the International Children’s Film Festival of India.
