Ontario, Canada, September 2025 – The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) has appointed Susan Jones Bouk as its new Head of People & Culture. In this leadership role, she will be responsible for advancing people strategies, culture transformation, and organizational development to support the league’s continued growth and commitment to excellence on and off the court.
Most recently, Susan served as Chief People Officer & Head of Office Operations at the Canadian Football League (CFL) for nearly four years. In this role, she oversaw HR operations, employee engagement, and leadership support while strengthening organizational culture across the league.
Before her tenure at the CFL, she was Chief Talent Officer at 3Macs, a division of Raymond James, where she led talent management strategies, succession planning, and executive development programs.
Earlier in her career, Susan held a senior role as Director of Human Resources at CPP Investments, where she partnered with senior executives on employee strategies and led the HR Business Partner team supporting core services.
She also brings significant consulting expertise, having founded and led Brownstone Consulting, a boutique HR consultancy that partnered with organizations such as Manulife Financial, Merrill Lynch, Molson, Teleias, and II BY IV Design, as well as advising executive teams at the CFL and other businesses.
Susan began her HR leadership journey as a Regional HR Manager at The TJX Companies, Inc., where she supported attraction, engagement, and retention during a period of rapid organizational growth.
