Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Suvir Davda has been appointed as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Sales, India, Markets & Securities Services at HSBC. Based in Mumbai, he now leads the bank’s corporate sales function, further strengthening HSBC’s position in markets and securities services across India.
Davda has been with HSBC for nearly two decades, demonstrating consistent leadership and expertise in global markets and corporate sales. Most recently, he served as Managing Director, Corporate Sales, Markets & Securities Services from 2023, where he played a pivotal role in expanding client engagement and enhancing sales strategies. Prior to this, he held the role of Director, Global Markets for more than 17 years, where he was responsible for leading the South India business and managing the Macro Desk. His contributions over the years have helped establish HSBC as a trusted partner for corporate clients across the region.
He began his career with Infosys in Bengaluru as an Associate Consultant, where he built his early expertise in consulting and technology solutions. This foundation paved the way for his transition into financial services, equipping him with a unique perspective on integrating technology and business strategy.
With his deep understanding of India’s regulatory and business landscape, coupled with his proven track record at HSBC, Davda is expected to drive stronger client partnerships, deliver innovative corporate sales solutions, and reinforce HSBC’s overall markets franchise in India.
