Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 — Sweta Bhardwaj has stepped into the role of Assistant General Manager – New Market and Initiatives at People Matters, Asia’s largest platform for talent professionals. In this strategic leadership role, she will drive market expansion across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and spearhead the development of experiential learning programs, Masterclasses, and region-specific initiatives such as awards and workshops.
Before joining People Matters, Sweta served as Senior Project Manager at The Economic Times – ETMasterclass, where she led the design and delivery of large-scale learning programs, acquired and managed high-profile speakers, and successfully executed the largest virtual masterclass at ET. She played a pivotal role in overseeing sales and marketing campaigns while managing large teams and P&L responsibilities.
Earlier, Sweta worked as a Higher Education Consultant with Cosmos Education Services, where she led business strategy and market engagement efforts. Her previous roles include senior leadership and academic positions at Learning Links Foundation, CentumU Institute of Management and Creative Studies, Algol School of Management, and Air Hostess Academy, where she excelled in training, operations, marketing, and international collaboration in education and hospitality.
Sweta began her professional journey in the hospitality industry with leadership roles at InterContinental Hotels, Crowne Plaza Surya, and later transitioned into higher education and learning management. She holds a PGDBM in HR Management and Training from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, a Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University, and a Diploma in Hotel Management from the National Council of Hotel Management. She completed her schooling at De Nobili School, Mugma.
