Lisbon, Portugal, December 2024 – Amorim Luxury Group, a leading name in Portugal’s luxury lifestyle industry, has announced the appointment of Tânia Rodrigues as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this capacity, Rodrigues will oversee human resources strategy and operations across the group’s diverse offerings in food, fashion, and hospitality.
With over two decades of experience in human resources leadership, Rodrigues brings a wealth of expertise in organizational development, talent management, and strategic HR transformation. Her appointment marks an exciting new phase for Amorim Luxury Group as it continues to enhance its lifestyle-centric brand portfolio.
Prior to joining Amorim Luxury Group, Rodrigues served as Human Resources Director for Optical Retail, Wholesale & Operations Portugal at Grandvision Portugal, part of the EssilorLuxottica Group, where she managed HR strategies across leading companies such as MultiOpticas, GrandOptical, and Luxottica Portugal. Her tenure at Grandvision spanned over three years, during which she significantly contributed to operational efficiency and workforce alignment.
Rodrigues also held the position of People & Culture Director at Grandvision Portugal, where she was instrumental in driving HR initiatives across various brands. Additionally, she has served as Human Resources Director at Sephora Portugal (LVMH Group), where she successfully implemented people-focused strategies to align with the luxury brand’s global objectives.
Earlier in her career, Rodrigues spent over a decade at Jerónimo Martins, holding multiple leadership roles, including Head of Leadership School, Recruitment and HR Development Director, HR Regional Director, and Head of Human Resources for DPC and Hussel. Her journey in human resources began at Unilever Jerónimo Martins, where she served as an HR Business Partner and Finance Business Partner Assistant.
