Jacksonville, Florida, United States, March 2026 – Tara Derby McCarthy has started a new position as Chief Marketing Officer at Pet Paradise, bringing extensive healthcare and growth marketing leadership experience to the expanding pet care brand.
In her new role, Tara will lead the company’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, revenue growth initiatives, and community engagement efforts as Pet Paradise continues to expand its footprint across the United States. The organization operates more than 60 locations across ten states, offering resort-style day camp, boarding, grooming, and integrated veterinary services under its NewDay Veterinary Care platform.
Prior to joining Pet Paradise, Tara served as Vice President of Marketing at All Star Healthcare Solutions. Earlier, she held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement at Benevis, where she supported large-scale patient growth initiatives and strengthened brand and community engagement strategies across a nationwide network of dental practices.
Her earlier marketing leadership roles include serving as Marketing Director at Bamboo Health, where she supported a technology platform impacting over one billion patient encounters annually, and Senior Director, Marketing and Community Education at Healogics, Inc., driving new patient growth and revenue expansion across a 700-hospital partner network.
Tara’s career foundation includes leadership roles at Vree Health (a subsidiary of Merck), Evariant, Valassis, and Primacy, building deep expertise in healthcare marketing, digital strategy, revenue generation, partnerships, and brand scaling. She also currently serves as a Board Member at Harmony Health.
