Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, September 2024 – Thamer Masri has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance. His expertise in human capital management is set to significantly enhance the HR strategies at the firm.
Before joining Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance, Thamer Masri served at Bank AlJazira, where he most recently held the position of Head of Human Capital Systems & Business Analytics as well as HC Strategy & Business Management from August 2021 until September 2024. His tenure at Bank AlJazira was marked by strategic oversight of the bank’s human capital systems and the implementation of advanced business analytics solutions.
Prior to his role in human capital systems, Thamer was the Head of Shared Services at Bank AlJazira for fourteen years. His long-term leadership helped shape the bank’s shared services operations, playing a pivotal role in streamlining HR functions that supported the bank’s expansive operations across Saudi Arabia.
Earlier in his career, Thamer was involved with the Islamic Development Bank as a Young Professional Program Manager, where he managed recruitment and development programs aimed at fostering young talent. He also served as Recruitment Assistance Manager at Bank AlJazira, where his career in human resources began.
