Gurugram, , Haryana, India, July 2025 – Tilak Kapoor has joined Eastman Auto & Power Limited as President – Human Resources, where he will lead the company’s people strategy across global markets. In this role, Tilak will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, organizational development, talent management, and cultural transformation for a company operating across more than 40 countries.
Tilak brings over two decades of HR leadership experience, most recently serving as Head HR – Confectionery SBU at DS Group, where he led the HR and IR functions across three major business units, including popular brands like Pulse and Pass Pass. He drove organizational alignment, leadership support, and team capability building for a workforce of 1,300+ employees.
Before DS Group, Tilak spent over eight years at Luminous Power Technologies, where he served as General Manager – Human Resources. He led major HR transformation projects such as implementing high-performance culture frameworks, succession planning, and SAP-based HRIS, while anchoring strategic initiatives around employer branding, diversity & inclusion, and OD interventions.
Earlier in his career, Tilak held HR leadership roles at Moser Baer India Ltd, Nicholas Piramal/Roche, and DCM Chemical, where he gained deep expertise in HR business partnering, learning and development, employee engagement, and industrial relations. He played a key role in greenfield projects and long-term HR capability-building initiatives.
Tilak holds an MBA in Marketing/HR from Punjabi University, an Executive Program in HRM from IIM Calcutta, and an Executive Program in OD & Change Management from TISS, equipping him with strong strategic and transformational capabilities to lead HR at scale.
