Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 – Tilak Thomas has started a new position as Head – Business Development at ArivuPro. In this role, he will lead sales and marketing for all ArivuPro offerings and head the Business Development team, driving growth, institutional partnerships, and market expansion for the ed-tech platform.
Prior to joining ArivuPro, Tilak ran an Independent Consulting Practice, advising firms across sectors through strategic problem-solving and leveraging extensive cross-industry networks. He also served as Corporate Relations and Consultancy Officer – CMS Business School at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), where he led corporate relations, executive education marketing, consulting assignments, placements, and management development programs, strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
Earlier, Tilak held leadership roles at International School of Management Excellence as Head – Consultancy, Training & External Relations, driving consulting engagements in business strategy, brand positioning, inventory optimization, and cost management, while also spearheading international university partnerships. He also led Corporate and Public Relations at AIMS Institutes and contributed to marketing and institutional development initiatives at HKBK College of Engineering and upGrad.
Tilak brings a strong academic and corporate foundation, having spent over three years at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore leading marketing initiatives for IIMBx MOOCs, corporate learning programs, and blended learning conferences. Earlier in his career, he served as an Assistant Professor at Amity Global Business School and Centre for Management Studies, Presidency College, and held HR leadership roles at Zee Turner Ltd and Microland Limited. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from K J Somaiya Institute of Management.
