White Plains, New York, United States, January 2026 — Tony Cicio, SHRM-SCP has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at OPAL Fuels (Nasdaq: OPAL). In this role, Cicio will align the organisation’s workforce strategy with OPAL Fuels’ mission to scale renewable natural gas production and support the decarbonisation of heavy-duty transportation.
Prior to joining OPAL Fuels, Tony Cicio most recently worked as a Human Resources Advisor & Coach, operating independently while advising former colleagues, supporting early-career professionals, and contributing as a guest speaker and panelist across HR forums and academic programs in the United States.
Before this advisory phase, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Divisions Maintenance Group, a private equity-backed technology-enabled facilities maintenance company. As the company’s first CHRO, Cicio established a formal HR function, built systems and processes to support rapid growth, and led a distributed HR team supporting a global workforce across the United States, India, Brazil, and Romania.
Earlier, Tony Cicio was Chief Human Resources Officer at Argo Group, a global specialty insurance underwriter. There, he led enterprise-wide HR strategy during a period of significant organisational complexity, including executive leadership changes and broader market challenges, while strengthening workforce planning, total rewards, and talent acquisition capabilities.
His earlier career includes senior people leadership roles at Samsung Electronics America as Vice President, People Team, and at Danone in North America, where he served in multiple VP-level HR roles. Across these positions, Cicio led large-scale people transformations, shared services initiatives, HR technology implementations, and diversity and inclusion programs within multinational organisations.
