Toronto, Ontario, Canada, January 2025 – Vaibhav Bakshi has been named Vice President, Human Resources, Apotex Global Operations & Quality at Apotex Inc., marking a significant milestone in his career. Vaibhav’s appointment highlights his exceptional contributions to strategic HR leadership and global operations during his previous roles.
Vaibhav joined Apotex Inc. in August 2022 as Head, People & Performance India, where he led a highly engaged HR team to drive the talent strategy for all Apotex businesses in India. During his tenure, he partnered with business leaders on strategic initiatives such as organizational design, culture transformation, and capability building, leaving a lasting impact on the company’s workforce.

Prior to Apotex, Vaibhav served as Vice President Human Resources at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited for nearly six years, where he spearheaded HR transformation initiatives, established a Global HR Shared Service Centre, and developed an in-house People Analytics App, revolutionizing HR processes and enhancing employee experience.
Vaibhav also held various HR leadership roles at Zydus Group, including serving as HR Director, Brazil, where he managed country-wide HR strategies and integration projects. Earlier in his career, he contributed to HR excellence in roles at Thermax Limited, Philips Lighting, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and Alembic Pharmaceuticals, gaining expertise in talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, and organizational transformation.
