Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, March 2025 — Vaidhyanathan Ramani has been elevated to the position of Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS). With more than a decade of experience within TVS SCS, Vaidhyanathan has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s financial strategy and performance, having previously served as Deputy Global CFO and CFO – India Business. He joined the company in January 2019 as Group Financial Controller and has since contributed significantly to its growth and expansion.
In his new role, Vaidhyanathan will lead global financial operations, reporting directly to Ravi Viswanathan, Managing Director of TVS SCS. His elevation follows the transition of Raviprakash Bhagavathula, the current Global CFO, to a new strategic role as Head of Strategic Initiatives in Singapore.
Throughout his career at TVS SCS, Vaidhyanathan has been instrumental in optimizing cash flows, improving financial discipline, and driving operational excellence across geographies. As CFO of the India business, he successfully steered financial planning during key transformation phases and helped reinforce the company’s position as a leader in supply chain innovation.
Before joining TVS SCS, Vaidhyanathan served as General Manager – Finance & CFO at Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited, a part of the Murugappa Group, where he led finance operations and supported strategic business initiatives. He also held various leadership roles at Murugappa Group and The Sanmar Group, managing corporate strategy, business accounts, capital budgeting, and due diligence initiatives.
Vaidhyanathan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a postgraduate degree in Analytical Finance & Strategy from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. His elevation reinforces TVS SCS’s commitment to strong financial stewardship, governance, and sustainable global growth.
