Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2024 – Vamsi Dasetty has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head HR – Network and People Analytics at Airtel. In this pivotal role, Vamsi will lead HR for Airtel’s Network functions while spearheading the company’s people analytics initiatives. His efforts will aim to enhance Airtel’s internal operations and external customer experience by leveraging innovative analytics and strategic HR solutions.
Vamsi’s tenure at Airtel is marked by significant contributions. Before this transition, he served as Senior Vice President, Head Total Rewards and HR Analytics, where he shaped transformative frameworks to attract, engage, and retain top-tier talent. His leadership extended to Vice President, Head of Total Rewards and HR Analytics, where he established innovative total rewards and people analytics strategies, driving organizational excellence and supporting Airtel’s dynamic business environment.
Prior to Airtel, Vamsi contributed extensively to Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) as Group Head of Performance and Rewards, designing progressive rewards charters for its diverse businesses, including Ola Mobility and Ola Electric Mobility. At Vodafone, he managed Total Rewards for India, delivering executive compensation and governance frameworks while supporting corporate HR operations. His early career saw impactful stints at Cairn India, where he served as an HR Business Partner for specialized functions, and at McKinsey & Company, focusing on organizational health diagnostics and strategic transformation.
