With over 15 years of experience in marketing, strategy, and client leadership, Varun is set to lead Grey’s northern operations, fostering impactful campaigns and driving client growth in the region.

Varun joins Grey India after a five-year stint at Leo Burnett, where he served as Vice President, overseeing client portfolios and creating innovative strategies for market-leading brands. His tenure was marked by transformative campaigns that delivered both creative excellence and measurable business results.

Prior to that, he held a six-year leadership role at Ogilvy, where he excelled as Vice President, managing integrated marketing solutions for global and local clients. At Dmas Advertising, Varun served as Group Head, where he successfully incubated the agency’s digital business and secured significant client wins.

Earlier in his career, Varun founded Mgainz Communication Services Pvt Ltd, where he led communication strategy development and branding initiatives, securing high-profile clients like Yamaha and Callaway Golf. His entrepreneurial vision earned accolades, including a Corporate Communication award for an employee engagement campaign.

Varun’s career began with impactful roles at ADK-FORTUNE (JWT Group), where he conceptualized innovative business models and received the Marketing Strategy Award (Silver) from Nikon for an industry-leading initiative.
