Singapore, May 2024 – Vasishtha Tandan embarks on a new chapter as the Head of Total Rewards at MODEC, a leading provider of floating solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry. With a strong foundation in HR transformation and compensation benchmarking, Tandan is set to enhance MODEC’s compensation strategies and employee engagement frameworks.
Prior to joining MODEC, Tandan served as Head of Rewards at Maersk Tankers in Singapore from July 2021 to May 2024. In this role, he was instrumental in overseeing executive compensation and spearheading strategic HR initiatives across the organization. Before this, he held the position of Global Compensation and Benefits and Country HR Head from December 2017 to June 2021, managing comprehensive compensation programs that supported the business’s expansive operations.
His tenure at Maersk also included a pivotal role as Global Compensation and Benefits Manager from November 2015 to November 2017, where he was responsible for global reward strategies and labor relations, including the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.
Earlier Experiences: Tandan’s extensive experience in the HR field also encompasses significant roles at A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. Starting as a Manager of Global Strategy and Efficiency in November 2009, he advanced to manage compensation and benefits across the company’s various sectors. His career at Maersk demonstrated a consistent commitment to enhancing HR frameworks and strategic planning on a global scale.
