Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 – Bridgestone Americas has announced the appointment of Vidya Sagar Vedanabhatla as Head of Talent Acquisition & Senior Manager – GCC. This strategic appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its global talent strategy and enhancing recruitment excellence across its growing Global Capability Center operations.
Vidya Sagar Vedanabhatla brings over a decade of rich experience across talent acquisition, HR delivery, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Known for his analytical approach and deep understanding of global hiring landscapes, he has consistently delivered high-impact recruitment solutions across IT, manufacturing, shipping, and multinational service sectors.
In his new role at Bridgestone Americas, Vidya will lead the organization’s talent acquisition strategy, focusing on building scalable hiring frameworks, strengthening employer branding, and enabling future-ready workforce capabilities aligned with Bridgestone’s global growth priorities.
Prior to joining Bridgestone Americas, Vidya Sagar Vedanabhatla served as Global Manager – Talent Acquisition and Attraction at A.P. Moller – Maersk for over four years. In this role, he played a pivotal part in shaping global hiring strategies, optimizing recruitment processes, and driving data-backed talent decisions to support Maersk’s transformation agenda.
Before Maersk, he was Manager – Talent Acquisition at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he strengthened strategic hiring initiatives and contributed to building high-performing teams across business functions.
Vidya spent nearly eight years at IBM, progressing through critical HR leadership roles including HR Delivery Manager and HR Delivery Process Owner. He was instrumental in implementing performance management systems, workforce planning, automation projects, and employee engagement programs. His ability to link talent analytics with organizational outcomes helped IBM streamline recruitment and retention practices across diverse portfolios.
He began his career at HSBC as an MIS Analyst, where he built expertise in dashboards, analytics, and process excellence, earning recognition for his contributions to Six Sigma initiatives and operational efficiency.
Vidya Sagar Vedanabhatla holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Services from GITAM University (2014–2016).
