Pune, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Vijay Nair has been appointed as Vice President, People Operations at Haber, where he will lead the company’s people strategy and operations to drive organizational effectiveness and sustainable growth.
Vijay joins Haber after an impactful eight-year tenure with Ather Energy, where he held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Director & Head of Performance & People Transformation, leading the HR tech roadmap, performance management, succession planning, and policy frameworks. He also played a critical role in supporting the organization’s IPO journey, audits, and governance mechanisms. Earlier at Ather, as Director & Head of Talent Partnering (HRBP), he partnered with business leaders to build a 400-member vertical, led restructuring exercises, and rebuilt the HR department from scratch. Before that, as GM & Head of Talent Management, he was instrumental in shaping Ather’s values-based culture, establishing L&D, and designing leadership development frameworks.
Prior to Ather, Vijay worked with UnitedHealth Group as Management Development Consultant, where he created leadership bench strength for the APAC region. Earlier, he was Associate Director, Training at Chiltern, where he established a strengths-based performance culture and designed training and engagement programs aligned to business goals.
Vijay’s entrepreneurial drive was reflected in his venture Set Square Fabrications, where he focused on client engagement and business development. Before that, he gained consulting expertise at Siksha Training & Consulting Pvt. Ltd., delivering L&D and OD interventions for leading clients across industries such as IT, BFSI, retail, healthcare, and hospitality.
He began his career in learning and development with Cyient, Hewlett-Packard, and Dell Technologies, managing leadership programs, blended learning solutions, and training delivery for global teams. Earlier, he also served as VLSI Design Service Engineer at Avant! Corp., providing specialized technical support. With over two decades of experience spanning HR leadership, people transformation, L&D, consulting, and operations, Vijay brings unmatched expertise to his new role at Haber.
