Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Bajaj Allianz General Insurance is thrilled to announce the promotion of Vikramjeet Singh to the position of Senior President and Chief Human Resources, Investigation & Loss Mitigation and Administration. In his 7 years and 6 months with Bajaj Allianz, Vikramjeet has exemplified exceptional leadership and dedication to enhancing the company’s human resources and administrative functions.
Vikramjeet Singh has made significant contributions to Bajaj Allianz General Insurance throughout his tenure. Recently, he served as the President and CHRO from December 2016 to May 2024. In this role, he was responsible for leading the human resources strategy, driving employee engagement, and overseeing talent acquisition and development. His efforts have been instrumental in fostering a people-centric culture and ensuring that the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
Before joining Bajaj Allianz, Vikramjeet held several key positions at Deutsche Bank. From March 2015 to December 2016, he was the Head HRBP – Investment Banking Operations, where he provided strategic HR support to the investment banking division. Prior to this, he served as the Site HR Lead & Global Lead – Expert Career Paths and Mobility from January 2014 to February 2015, and as the Site HR Lead & India Talent Acquisition Head from January 2013 to December 2013. His tenure at Deutsche Bank was marked by his ability to drive HR initiatives that supported the bank’s strategic objectives and enhanced employee experience.
Earlier in his career, Vikramjeet was with Vodafone for over 7 years. He served as the Head – HR India (Shared Services) from January 2010 to February 2011, and as the Head – HR (Upper North Circles) from January 2004 to December 2009. His roles at Vodafone involved overseeing HR operations, implementing HR strategies, and driving talent management initiatives that supported the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Vikramjeet began his career at Larsen & Toubro Limited as a Human Resources Specialist from May 2002 to January 2004. In this role, he was involved in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and talent development.
