Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Vinayak Deshpande has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant leadership transition as he steps into one of India’s most iconic consumer goods brands. In his new position, Vinayak will be responsible for driving the company’s people strategy, strengthening talent systems, and supporting Parle’s continued growth and legacy through high-impact human capital leadership.
Before joining Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., Vinayak Deshpande was part of Amazon for nearly five years, where he most recently served as Head Human Resources – UK & Europe. Prior to this, he worked as Regional Lead Human Resources for Amazon in India, contributing to strategic HR leadership during a phase of business expansion and organizational scaling across regions.
Earlier, Vinayak spent over five years with Kerry, where he held multiple roles including Director Human Resources, South West Asia, and later expanded his remit to serve as Mergers & Acquisition HR Head, Middle East, India & Africa. His time at Kerry included oversight of HR across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Prior to Kerry, Vinayak held senior HR roles at leading organizations such as GSK, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and PepsiCo, where he led strategic HR practices across talent management, capability-building and organizational development. He began his HR career with ACC Limited, gaining early experience working across corporate HR domains.
Vinayak holds an MBA in Human Resources from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
