Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 – Vipin Nair has taken on the role of Vice President Communications at Cognizant, one of the world’s leading professional services companies. In this role, Vipin will oversee external and internal communications strategy, brand messaging, and executive positioning for the company globally.
Vipin brings over 25 years of deep experience in media, corporate communications, and strategic branding. Most recently, he led communications as Leader – Media and Public Relations at Azim Premji Foundation, and concurrently served as Director – Communications at Premji Invest, where he was instrumental in shaping strategic narratives and thought leadership communications.
Before that, Vipin was the Global Head of Communications at Wipro for a decade, where he successfully drove both external and internal communications across global markets. His earlier experience includes serving as Executive Editor at Ticker, Deputy Editor at Newswire18, and editorial roles at CRISIL MarketWire, Bridge News, and The Economic Times, showcasing his foundational strength in journalism and content leadership.
He also co-founded VIYA Associates and contributed as a Voiceover Artist for BBC, adding to his rich portfolio of media experience and storytelling capabilities.
