Frisco, Texas, , United States, October 2025 — Vipul Gandhi has joined Visa as Director, People Systems, marking a new chapter in his distinguished career spanning over two decades in HR technology, people systems strategy, and digital transformation. In his new role, Vipul will oversee the global HR technology landscape, driving innovation and efficiency in people systems to support Visa’s mission of enabling seamless digital payments across the world.
At Visa, Vipul will lead HR systems strategy, Workday optimization, data governance, and automation initiatives, ensuring that HR technology aligns with business needs and scales effectively across geographies. His focus will include streamlining processes, improving system integrations, and enhancing user experience for both employees and leaders within the organization.
Before joining Visa, Vipul had an illustrious 21-year journey at Verizon, where he advanced through multiple leadership positions in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function. As Associate Director – HR Information Systems, he led Workday Recruiting strategy and optimization, partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions. Previously, as Senior Manager – HR Information Systems, Vipul spearheaded several large-scale digital HR transformation projects, including PeopleSoft to Workday migration, global career site redesign, and AI-driven talent analytics enhancements. His earlier roles at Verizon showcased his ability to blend technical expertise with business acumen, consistently improving HR processes and system efficiencies.
Vipul began his career as a Software Engineer at Sapient Corporation, later working with Hall Kinion & Associates and USC’s Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics, where he contributed to advanced data systems and enterprise integrations. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a Master’s in Operations Research Engineering, he also holds an Advanced Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT. Vipul’s career reflects a deep passion for leveraging technology to enhance workforce experience and organizational performance.
