Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Virendra Kasliwal has taken on a new role as Senior Vice President at Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL). Based in Mumbai, he will play a key leadership role in driving the company’s financial and strategic initiatives across its global EPC operations.
Prior to this, Virendra was associated with Greenko Group as Chief Financial Controller for nearly 2 years, where he oversaw strategic financial planning, controlling, and reporting in the energy sector. He played a critical role in driving financial transformation and compliance in line with international standards.
Earlier, he served as Group Financial Controller at Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited for over 1.5 years, where he led budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and performance management across power assets. His role was pivotal in enhancing financial discipline and supporting business expansion.
Before that, Virendra had a 7.5-year tenure at Adani Power, where he served as Vice President and Head-Business Controller for thermal businesses. He managed end-to-end budgeting, reporting, and strategy execution, contributing significantly to the company’s operational and financial growth.
He began his leadership journey with Essar and Sterlite Industries, where he held senior finance roles for over 15 years, focusing on IFRS implementation, consolidation, stakeholder reporting, and global audit coordination.
