Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Goodyear India Ltd. has appointed Vishal Dhingra as Director HR – South Asia, marking a strategic leadership transition aligned with regulatory requirements. The appointment, made in compliance with SEBI regulations, follows the recommendation of Goodyear India’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its people agenda across the South Asia region.
A senior HR leader with over 25 years of experience, Vishal is known for driving people-first strategies that support organizational growth, leadership development, and operational excellence. In his new role, he is expected to further strengthen Goodyear’s HR function, deepen capability building, and enable business momentum across South Asia.
Vishal has been associated with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for close to six years, taking on progressively broader responsibilities across India and the ASEAN region. Most recently, he has been serving as Human Resources Director – ASEANZ, following leadership assignments as Human Resources Director – ASEAN and Human Resources Director – India, where he led HR strategy and transformation initiatives while partnering closely with business leadership teams across markets.
Before joining Goodyear, Vishal held significant HR leadership roles at PepsiCo, where he led supply chain HR responsibilities for India and also supported employee relations leadership across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Earlier, he worked with GSK in multiple roles spanning employee relations, site leadership, and HR business partnering for R&D and global support functions, including involvement in major integration and change initiatives.
His earlier career includes plant HR leadership roles at Eicher Tractors and HR responsibilities at BILT, building a strong foundation in employee relations, labor negotiations, talent management, and multi-site HR operations across manufacturing environments.
