Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, June 2025 – William Brown has joined The Robertson Trust as Head of People and Corporate Services. In this new capacity, William will lead people strategy and corporate services to support the Trust’s mission of preventing and reducing poverty and trauma across Scotland.
Before joining The Robertson Trust, William served as Head of Human Resources at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, where he contributed to strategic HR leadership for three years. He also held key roles at The Glasgow School of Art, progressing from HR Manager to Deputy Director of Human Resources over a three-year tenure, where he was instrumental in HR operations and organizational effectiveness.
William’s earlier experience includes his role as HR Manager at Volunteer Scotland for five years, where he led HR initiatives to support Scotland’s vibrant volunteer sector. Previously, he held HR roles at Falkirk Council, The Action Group, and international assignments at The Ali Forney Center in New York and NOVA Co. Ltd in Osaka, Japan.
