New York, United States, January 2026 — Zofia Ciechowska has started a new position as Head of People at Suno, where she will lead the company’s people and talent agenda as it scales rapidly in the music and technology ecosystem. In this role, she will oversee key areas including talent attraction and development, organizational design, total rewards, employee experience, and people operations—supporting Suno’s vision of building one of the most talented teams in the music industry.
Prior to joining Suno, Zofia Ciechowska spent nearly eight years with Etsy, where she held several senior leadership roles spanning people strategy, organizational leadership, and enterprise operations. Most recently, she served as Vice President, People Strategy, leading Etsy’s People Strategy function and rebuilding talent and performance systems to drive operational efficiency while protecting talent quality. Her scope included workforce planning, performance management, talent development, HRBP effectiveness, employee relations, and DEI initiatives, ensuring that talent investments translated into measurable business outcomes.
Before stepping into People Strategy leadership, Zofia served for close to three years as Vice President, Strategy and Operations, where she built and led the Strategy & Operations function while advising Etsy’s C-suite and Board. In this capacity, she drove strategic planning, resource allocation, cross-functional program execution, and internal communications, while supporting Etsy through pandemic hyper-growth, marketplace acquisitions, and post-pandemic transformation into more disciplined execution. She also held earlier leadership positions at Etsy including Senior Director, Strategy and Operations and Director, Strategy and Operations – Chief of Staff, reinforcing her reputation as a trusted operator working at the intersection of strategy, growth, operating models, and culture.
Earlier in her career, Zofia Ciechowska worked with Spotify for over two years as Senior Manager, Strategy Operations, where she designed and operated strategic systems for prioritization and execution management during a period of intense growth and preparation to go public. She also gained experience in the innovation and design ecosystem through assignments with IDEO, Undercurrent, and Made by Many, contributing to organizational design, operating model transformation, and agile product innovation for global clients.
Alongside her executive journey, Zofia has also served for several years as an Operations Advisor through Primary Venture Partners’ Primary Expert Network, supporting founders through key operating and scaling challenges. She also completed a distinguished fellowship as a First Movers Fellow with The Aspen Institute, focused on growth and business-society innovation.
