Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Devesh Singhania has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) India Region at Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd. In his new role, Devesh will be responsible for overseeing finance, controlling, strategy, legal, and IT/ERP functions, bringing his extensive expertise in financial leadership and strategic management to the company.
Devesh Singhania joins Wilo Group from Socomec Group, where he served as CFO India Region & APAC Industry Controller. During his tenure at Socomec, he managed financial operations across multiple countries in the APAC region, implemented IT automation to drive efficiency, and supported the company’s expansion and strategic business plans.
Before Socomec, Devesh held the position of CFO India Region at the same company, where he led commercial, financial, and legal negotiations, contributed to setting up greenfield distribution bases, and spearheaded the GST transformation process. His career also includes roles as Finance Manager & Factory Controller at Socomec and Assistant Manager – Assurance and Audit Services at Ernst & Young, where he gained valuable experience in finance, accounts, legal, and tax functions.
