With a rich background in procurement and supply chain management, Sandeep is set to bring his extensive experience to Havells, driving innovation and operational excellence in the company’s procurement strategies.
Sandeep Bhargava most recently served as Executive President & Chief Procurement Officer at Polycab India Limited. Over his 12-year tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming the procurement processes, ensuring the smooth supply chain operations, and contributing significantly to the company’s growth and market leadership in the electrical industry.
Before his time at Polycab, Sandeep held the position of Assistant Vice President Commercial at Vedanta Resources Plc, where he was responsible for leading commercial operations and optimizing procurement strategies. His role was crucial in enhancing operational efficiencies and driving cost-effective procurement solutions.
Sandeep also served as General Manager Materials at ArcelorMittal Steel in Ukraine, where he managed the materials and supply chain functions, ensuring the seamless operation of the company’s steel production facilities. His leadership in materials management helped streamline processes and improve overall productivity.
Earlier in his career, Sandeep was the General Manager Materials at Asahi India Glass Limited, where he was instrumental in managing materials procurement and logistics, contributing to the company’s strong supply chain network. His early career includes key roles at Motherson Sumi Systems Limited, TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd, and GKN Driveline, where he gained valuable experience in operations and materials management.
