Monica Rodriguez joins Africa Oil Corp. after serving as Transformational Senior HR Consultant at the World Gold Council, where she designed and implemented HR strategies that boosted efficiency and innovation across a global geographical scope. Prior to that, she was the Head of People Operations – Director at Mazars in the UK, where she led the transformation of the HR and People & Culture team, driving a digital-first approach and improving employee and user experiences across multiple countries.
Monica’s leadership experience also includes over eight years at TotalEnergies, where she served as Country HR VP and HR Director. In these roles, she led strategic HR initiatives that contributed to the company’s business growth, transformation, and employee engagement. Her early career saw her as a trusted HR Business Partner at CGG, where she supported the leadership team in managing HR for key departments, including R&D and expatriate teams.
