Minnesota, United States, September 2024 – Katianne Johnston has taken on a new role as Director of Talent Acquisition Strategy at Sanford Health. In this capacity, she will oversee strategic initiatives to drive talent acquisition and enhance recruitment efforts within the organization.
Katianne has been with Sanford Health for almost seven years, contributing to several leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Sourcing Manager, developing and executing sourcing strategies to support the company’s hiring needs. Prior to that, Katianne held the position of Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, where she managed recruitment for key roles, focusing on the Fargo, North Dakota area.
Katianne also worked as a Lead Talent Advisor, overseeing full-cycle recruiting for complex hires. Her earlier roles as Senior Talent Advisor and Talent Advisor saw her collaborating closely with hiring managers to ensure seamless recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience. Katianne began her career at Sanford as a Sourcing Specialist, building continuous candidate pipelines and participating in career fairs.
Before joining Sanford, Katianne worked at Jamestown Regional Medical Center as a Marketing Generalist and Event Planner Intern, focusing on community engagement and brand promotion. She also gained experience as a Human Resources Intern and Career Center Marketing Intern at the University of Jamestown.
