London, England, October 2024 – Cleo has welcomed Sophie Wormleighton as its Interim Head of People Partnerships and Experience. In this role, Sophie will lead Cleo’s people partnerships and employee experience initiatives, focusing on strengthening the company’s dynamic culture and supporting its growth-driven HR strategy.
Before joining Cleo, Sophie was the Head of People at UNiDAYS, where she led talent strategies and fostered an inclusive work environment across a remote team for nearly a year and a half. Her contributions were instrumental in improving employee engagement and operational efficiencies within the organization.
Previously, she served as Associate Director, Human Resource Business Partner at Apollo Global Management, Inc., where she brought her expertise in HR partnerships and organizational strategy to support the firm’s London operations. She held a HR Manager role at John Laing and contributed to HR advisory functions at both Cambridge Associates and Shore Capital Markets, further honing her skills in employee relations and talent management.
Sophie began her HR career as a Senior HR Coordinator at Navigators Underwriting Agency Ltd, gaining valuable experience in HR coordination and support functions.
