Greater Munich Metropolitan Area, October 2024 – Moritz Bauer has been named Head of Talent Management & Human Resources at Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. In this role, Moritz will oversee talent management strategies and human resources functions, driving organizational development and HR processes to support Lufthansa Aviation Training’s continued growth and leadership in the aviation training sector.
Prior to this new role, Moritz served as Human Resources Manager / Lead Organizational Development at Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar for nearly two years. His key contributions included the development of recruitment strategies, the streamlining of HR processes across multiple European locations, and the implementation of a multi-platform employer branding strategy.
Before joining Lufthansa, Moritz worked as a Management Consultant at Porsche Consulting where he facilitated a global reorganization project and conducted leadership steering committees. His experience in strategic project management and leadership development made a significant impact in his consulting role.
During his tenure at Merck KGaA, Moritz held dual roles as Project Manager and Corporate Student. He was instrumental in improving demand planning processes, digitizing KPI reporting, and leading various cross-functional projects. His rotations through departments such as HR, Innovation Management, and Global Product Supply gave him a well-rounded perspective on corporate operations.
Early in his career, Moritz gained experience as a Student Consultant at SIXT, where he conducted market research and developed marketing strategies, and as a Strategic Marketing Intern at Deutsche Post, where he worked on customer-centric marketing initiatives.
