Los Angeles, CA, United States – November 2024 – Bill Mote has joined Danny Wimmer Presents as Chief Financial Officer. In this pivotal role, Bill will be responsible for steering the financial strategy and operations of DWP, aligning with the company’s vision to deliver top-tier festival experiences and ensuring robust financial health to support long-term growth.
Prior to joining Danny Wimmer Presents, Bill served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Modern Gourmet Foods | Thoughtfully | Man Crates. During his tenure, he oversaw financial and operational initiatives across the United States, Ireland, China, the Netherlands, and Israel, driving growth and operational efficiency across multiple international markets.
Before that, he held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Greenlane Holdings, Inc., where he managed financial strategies that supported the company’s NASDAQ listing and expansion in the retail sector. Bill’s leadership was instrumental in capital-raising efforts and in fostering strategic partnerships that enhanced Greenlane’s market reach.
In his previous experience as Chief Financial Officer at Basic Fun!, Bill streamlined financial processes and focused on strategic financial planning that strengthened the company’s product reach and revenue channels. Earlier, he held senior finance roles, including Chief Financial Officer at Kids2 and Chief Financial Officer at Poarch Creek Indians, where he honed his expertise in corporate finance, tax strategy, and capital management.
Bill’s career also includes roles as Executive Vice President at Jakks Pacific and Vice President at Riddell, as well as Director of Finance at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In these positions, he led initiatives in financial restructuring, international operations, and revenue growth across key global locations.
