Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 2024 – Majid AlMegil has taken on the prestigious role of Chief People Officer (CPO) at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC). In this critical leadership position, Majid will oversee the hospital’s comprehensive human resources strategy, driving workforce development, organizational transformation, and talent management to advance its mission of delivering world-class healthcare services.
Majid brings extensive expertise in HR strategy and organizational transformation to his new role. Prior to joining KFSH&RC, he served as General Manager of Human Resources at the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), where he developed and implemented people strategies, oversaw talent acquisition, learning and development, and spearheaded major HR initiatives for over four years.
Majid also held a part-time role as Acting General Manager of Human Resources at the Saudi Space Commission, contributing to strategic HR efforts during a critical growth phase. Additionally, he served as Deputy Minister for HR Innovation and Excellence at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development – KSA, where he drove transformation projects across the public sector, including strategic workforce planning, leadership development programs, and organizational redesign.
Earlier in his career, Majid held HR leadership roles at The Saudi National Bank (SNB) and consulting positions at Korn Ferry and EY, where he gained valuable experience in organizational design, leadership development, and compensation strategies. His early career as a Process Engineer at Advanced Electronics Company laid a strong foundation for his analytical and strategic approach to HR management.
