City of London, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Michael Paterson has been named Head of Talent Acquisition at SimCorp, a global leader in integrated investment management solutions. In his new role, Michael will oversee the development and execution of a global talent acquisition strategy to support SimCorp’s continued growth and transformation. His responsibilities will include leading the company’s recruitment efforts across regions and ensuring a seamless integration of talent strategies aligned with SimCorp’s strategic objectives.
Michael brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at SimCorp. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, where he led a global team of nine Talent Acquisition Partners and managed full-cycle recruitment for SimCorp’s Market Units, SaaS operations, and advisory business across EMEA, North America, and APAC. He also spearheaded several strategic projects, including implementing AI-driven sourcing tools, enhancing the candidate experience, and establishing an internal sourcing hub. During this time, Michael successfully scaled SimCorp’s Mexico City Technology Delivery Centre to 150 employees in two years.
Before that, Michael held the role of Lead Talent Acquisition Partner EMEA, managing recruitment across consulting, technology, and corporate functions. He played a pivotal role in SimCorp’s global Workday HCM implementation as the Recruiting Lead, contributing to design, testing, and rollout efforts.
Prior to joining SimCorp, Michael honed his expertise in talent acquisition and financial technology recruitment as Managing Consultant at Harrington Starr, where he focused on trading and investment management technology across EMEA. Earlier in his career, he served as Recruiter/Account Manager at HW Search & Selection, specializing in financial IT trading technology.
