Gurgaon, Haryana, India, December 2024 – DLF Limited, one of India’s leading real estate companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Badal Bagri as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With a career spanning nearly three decades, Badal Bagri brings extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. In his new role, Badal will oversee DLF’s financial strategies and operations, further strengthening the company’s position in the real estate sector.
Badal Bagri joins DLF after serving as Business Head – Jio Mart Digital at Reliance Retail for three years, where he led key initiatives in e-commerce and digital transformation. Prior to this, he was CFO – India & South Asia at Bharti Airtel, where he played a pivotal role in financial management and strategic planning over a five-year tenure.
Earlier in his career, Badal held the position of CFO at Aircel Limited, where he streamlined financial operations, and at Micromax Informatics Ltd, where he managed corporate finance and tax planning. At Bharti Airtel, he also served as Global Controller and Finance Head – Business to Consumer Businesses, showcasing his expertise in managing large-scale financial portfolios.
His leadership capabilities were further honed at Genpact LLC, where he served as Sr VP and Global Controller, and at GE India as CFO – India. Badal has also held financial leadership roles at GE Capital, Coca-Cola India, and ICI Paints, demonstrating a strong foundation in finance across various industries.
