New Delhi, Delhi, India, December 2024 – Arvind Vats has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Orient Electric, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career spanning nearly three decades. In this pivotal role, he will be instrumental in driving the financial strategies of Orient Electric, a renowned name in the consumer electrical space and part of the CK Birla Group.
Arvind Vats joins Orient Electric after serving as Group Chief Financial Officer at Haldiram Snacks Private Limited for over a year. During his tenure, he was a key architect in formulating financial strategies to support business expansion and enhance top-line and bottom-line growth.
Prior to this, he held the position of President & CFO at RSPL Group (Ghari Detergent), where he spearheaded finance operations for two years. His leadership in cost optimization and business reviews with senior management significantly bolstered the company’s performance.

Arvind has also made a notable impact during his tenure as CFO of CESC Ventures Limited and Spencer’s Retail, where he played a crucial role in the listing of Spencer’s Retail, compliance with SEBI regulations, and expansion into the FMCG and QSR spaces under brands such as “Too Yumm.”
Earlier in his career, Arvind spent over a decade at Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, ascending to the role of Deputy CFO and Chief Investor Relations Officer (CIRO). He contributed significantly to the company’s IPO journey, established corporate governance, and collaborated with global consultants to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
His career foundation was built through impactful roles at organizations such as Radico Khaitan Limited, Shaw Wallace & Company Limited, HFCL Satellite Communications Ltd, and Jindal Poly Films Limited, where he honed his expertise in finance, treasury management, and strategic planning.
