Accra, Ghana, December 2024 – Senyo Adu has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Beacon Power Services (BPS). In his new role, Senyo will lead the financial strategy and operations across BPS’s key markets in the US, Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, and other emerging regions, leveraging his extensive expertise in financial management and operational leadership to drive the company’s mission of improving energy access across Africa.
Senyo joined Beacon Power Services in February 2024 as the Director of Finance and Operations, where he managed over 850 employees across multiple countries. He spearheaded the company’s financial planning and operational strategies, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across its growing footprint. Prior to that, he held the role of Director of Finance, where he focused on advancing data-driven insights to improve energy distribution systems and enhance grid efficiency.

Senyo has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Bridge QE Africa, where he provided strategic guidance on mentorship and re-education initiatives aimed at empowering students. Before joining BPS, he held pivotal roles at PwC UK and KPMG UK, where he honed his skills in financial reporting, auditing, and cross-functional leadership.
His entrepreneurial spirit shone through as the Co-Founder and CEO of Edwom Ghana Limited, Ghana’s first online grocery and delivery service, where he successfully led investor funding rounds and developed comprehensive business plans.
