Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Mehernosh N. Mehta has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, a leader in the Electrical Engineering Industry. In his new role, Mehernosh will lead the company’s human resources strategy, talent management, and organizational development initiatives, aligning them with CG Power’s vision for innovation and sustainability.
Mehernosh most recently served as the Global Lead – Talent Management and Organisation Development at Allcargo Logistics Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in fostering a people-centric culture and aligning HR strategies with the company’s growth objectives. Concurrently, he was the CHRO at Gati Limited, an Allcargo group company, where he successfully designed and implemented HR strategies to support the organization’s ambition of achieving threefold growth in three years.
Previously, Mehernosh held the position of CHRO at Welspun Corp Limited, where he oversaw the HR function and contributed to strategic business transformation. Before this, he served as Vice President and CHRO at Mahindra Logistics, India’s third-largest 3PL company. Here, he led a team of over 100 HR professionals, driving cultural transformation, talent acquisition, and industrial relations across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Mehernosh worked with the Tata Group as General Manager – Group Human Resources, where he was instrumental in designing and delivering leadership development initiatives for Tata Group companies. At Sanofi, he held key roles as Director – Business HR and OD and Director – Organisational Development, setting up the OD function from scratch and implementing strategies for talent management, employee engagement, and change management. He also gained extensive HR experience during his tenure at Asian Paints, where he held HR leadership roles across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing, with a focus on industrial relations and compliance..
