Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, January 2025 – Nahomi Rodríguez Cruz has been appointed as Chief People Officer at USIC, where she will lead the company’s human resources strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, compensation, and fostering a positive workplace culture. With over a decade of HR leadership experience, Nahomi is poised to drive transformative initiatives that align with USIC’s strategic goals and commitment to excellence.
Nahomi has been a part of USIC for 11 years, serving as Human Resources Director since 2014. In this role, she was responsible for designing and overseeing HR activities, including recruitment, training, labor relations, and benefits management. She also spearheaded the Affirmative Action Program and managed the department’s annual budget, showcasing her strategic and operational expertise.

Before joining USIC, Nahomi served as Human Resources Manager at Internova Electrical Contractor, where she was instrumental in streamlining HR documentation and processes. Prior to that, she held the position of Human Resources Director at Subway Puerto Rico, managing HR functions for over 50 stores and 500 employees, demonstrating her ability to handle complex HR operations at scale.
