Charmien Fugelsang has joined MikMak as Chief People Officer, marking a significant addition to the global leader in eCommerce enablement and analytics software. With over 20 years of experience in human resources and talent management, Fugelsang is poised to enhance MikMak’s people-first culture and drive organizational growth.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at MikMak! MikMak is the global leader in eCommerce enablement and analytics software and I’m proud to join their brilliant team,” Fugelsang shared. She also expressed gratitude towards team members she has already interacted with, including in-person meetings with Rachel Tipograph, Micah Kushner, and others, and looks forward to engaging with the entire team.
Before this role, Fugelsang served as Chief People Officer at nTop, where she played a crucial role in building next-generation engineering design tools. Her tenure at nTop, which lasted over two years, was marked by significant advancements in HR strategies and inclusivity programs.
Prior to nTop, Fugelsang was a pivotal force at Vimeo as Vice President of Talent, where she led the scaling of the company’s workforce from 90 to 650 employees globally. Her efforts were crucial in fostering an inclusive work environment and enhancing operational efficiency. Before Vimeo, Fugelsang enhanced the HR capabilities of AppNexus, facilitating its growth from 30 to over 500 employees and its eventual acquisition by AT&T.
In earlier roles, Fugelsang demonstrated her prowess in diverse settings including Fair Pay Workplace, where she advocated for fair compensation practices, and in her strategic leadership roles across various companies in the media and fashion industries.
