Atlanta, Georgia, United States, January 2025 – Andrew Wamser has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at NCR Atleos. In his new role, Andrew will focus on enhancing the company’s financial strategies, driving value creation for shareholders, and supporting tactical and strategic execution. His leadership will strengthen NCR Atleos’ position as a global leader in self-service financial solutions.
Prior to joining NCR Atleos, Andrew Wamser served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at BlueLinx Corporation, where he led financial operations for the NYSE-listed building products distribution company with approximately $4 billion in annual revenues. His role involved optimizing financial processes to support large-scale construction and remodeling projects across North America.
Earlier, Andrew was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Mativ, a global specialty materials manufacturer. During his five-year tenure, the company experienced substantial growth, with revenues expanding from $900 million to over $3 billion through strategic initiatives, including a merger of equals.
Before Mativ, Andrew held leadership roles at AutoNation, including VP Finance and Treasurer and Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations. He contributed to the financial strategy of the Fortune 200 company, overseeing operations with $20 billion in annual revenue and 300 retail locations.
Andrew’s career also includes significant experience in investment banking. He spent nine years at Barclays Investment Bank, advancing to the role of Managing Director, where he provided strategic financial counsel to global clients.
