Baghdad, Iraq, February 2025 – Global Aviation Iraq has appointed Johnson Dominic as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), bringing over three decades of experience in human capital management, business transformation, and organizational strategy. In his new role, he will lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR strategy development as the airline prepares for its inaugural operations. His expertise in the 5P business model—Planning, People, Process, Policy & Procedures—is expected to drive HR excellence and operational efficiency at Global Aviation Iraq.
Prior to joining Global Aviation Iraq, Johnson served as Chief People Officer at Fly Baghdad, where he played a critical role in organizational transformation, modernizing HR practices, and leading cultural change. His leadership helped shape HR strategies that enhanced employee engagement and business performance.
Before Fly Baghdad, he was Group Human Resources Manager at Danem Group in Qatar, where he oversaw HR operations, policy development, talent management, and succession planning. He was responsible for workforce optimization across multiple business units and geographies.
His career also includes serving as Organizational Development Manager at Al Rajhi Construction LLC in Saudi Arabia, where he designed and implemented HR frameworks to improve efficiency and workforce productivity. Johnson also held HR leadership roles at Rezayat Group, Al-Yamama Group, and BESIX, where he gained extensive experience in HR strategy, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and business transformation.
Johnson Dominic holds an Executive MBA in Human Resources Management from Kazian School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Calicut. His academic background in strategic HR management and business leadership has been instrumental in shaping his approach to human capital optimization.
