Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Elior, one of the world’s leading catering and food services companies, has appointed Manu M. as General Manager – Pan-India On-site Kitchen Operations, reinforcing its operational leadership as it continues to strengthen its food service delivery across India.
Manu joins Elior after a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades across hospitality, integrated facility management, food services, and operations leadership. Most recently, he served as Deputy General Manager and Head of Operations at Compass Group India, where he led large-scale operations across multiple locations, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, process optimization, financial performance, and business growth.
During his four-year journey with Compass Group India, Manu progressed through several leadership roles, including Senior Manager – Operations, Assistant General Manager – Operations, AGM – Operations, and finally Deputy General Manager / Head of Operations. He played a significant role in developing operational procedures, improving efficiency, strengthening client partnerships, and leading high-performing operations teams across India.
Prior to Compass Group, Manu had a brief stint as Senior Manager at SLAY Coffee, contributing to business expansion and operational management during a key phase of the company’s growth.
Earlier, he spent over five years with Sodexo, where he held progressively senior leadership positions including Hospitality Manager, Unit Manager, and Senior Manager – Hospitality. During this period, he managed hospitality operations across major client locations, strengthened customer service standards, optimized budgets, and enhanced operational performance across multiple business units.
Manu began his leadership journey in the hospitality industry with Westin Hotels & Resorts, where he served in roles including Food & Beverage Associate, Team Leader, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Manager – Banquets, and Banquet Manager. His experience in luxury hospitality helped build a strong foundation in customer experience, service excellence, people leadership, and operational execution.
Earlier in his career, he also worked with The O Hotel and Yum! Brands, gaining valuable frontline operational experience that shaped his customer-centric leadership approach.
As General Manager – Pan-India On-site Kitchen Operations, Manu will lead Elior India’s on-site kitchen operations across the country, focusing on operational excellence, food quality, process standardization, client satisfaction, team capability, and continuous improvement while supporting the company’s growth strategy.
