Before stepping into her new role, Amanda served as Vice President, People at Neo Financial for nearly three years, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing talent strategy, organizational design, and employment policies to support the company’s rapid expansion. Her leadership in fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture has been key to Neo Financial’s success.
Prior to joining Neo Financial, Amanda was the Chief People Officer at FIRMA Foreign Exchange (now OFX), where she led organizational change, workforce strategy, and employee experience initiatives. Her tenure at FIRMA spanned over three years, during which she strengthened leadership development programs and refined HR policies to align with business growth.
Earlier in her career, Amanda held multiple HR leadership roles at the Government of Alberta, including Executive Director of Human Resources for both the Treasury Board & Finance and Environment & Parks departments. Over a seven-year period, she spearheaded talent acquisition strategies, labor relations programs, and HR operational efficiencies across various government sectors.
Before her time in government, Amanda held HR leadership positions at Honeywell Process Solutions and Matrikon, where she led global HR operations, talent management programs, and workforce engagement initiatives. Her expertise in employment law, labor relations, and workforce transformation played a crucial role in optimizing HR functions within these organizations.
Amanda holds a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Executive Development from Kellogg Executive Education and a Business degree specializing in Human Resources Management from the University of Alberta. Her strong academic foundation, combined with her extensive leadership experience, will be pivotal in guiding Neo Financial’s people strategy and scaling its workforce as the company continues to grow.
